Philosophy
Sexuality is an integral part of everyday life. It is a basic element of our human existence for our whole life. Sexuality is the expression of our sexual identity and is influenced by socialization, by cultural, spiritual, and personal values and beliefs, and by the health of the individual.
Sexual Health Centre Saskatoon envisions a society where comprehensive,
ongoing sexuality education along with up-to-date information and
support services to back up this education are available to all people
at all stages of their lives. We believe that this would result in
a much lower incidence of crisis situations like unintended pregnancies,
sexually transmitted infections, including AIDS, and other social
problems related to sexuality. Such a society would help individuals
make informed decisions about sexuality, taking into account the cultural
and spiritual differences of each person. Sexual Health Centre Saskatoon
would like to see information and services related to sexuality and
reproductive health provided to everyone as a basic human right.
Given these beliefs, Sexual Health Centre Saskatoon has adopted the

Mission Statement
Sexual Health Centre Saskatoon aims to ensure that information, resources, support, and services of the highest quality regarding sexuality, contraception, and reproduction are available and accessible to all in our community who need them. Our organization encourages responsible decision-making and behavior, which is respectful of the needs and of the choices available to each individual.
