Parenting Support and Resources in Saskatoon
There are several groups that provide support and great resources for parents in Saskatoon and the surrounding area.
The Family Support Centre's teen and Young Parent program is a good resource for young women looking for information and help with
basic skills. You can reach them at 933-7751.
The Saskatoon Health Region offers Healthy Mother, Healthy Baby, where you can find prenatal classes, education and counseling,
milk and vitamin support, home and school visits. They can also make referrals to other agencies. Their phone number is 655-4810.
Birthright (343-6636) and Real Choices Pregnancy Centre (665-7550) are anti-choice agencies that are also potential points of
reference for baby supplies.
A great website with information for women who are pregnant is the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada.
