Human Rights of Transgendered Individuals

The Saskatchewan Human Rights Code promotes and protects individual dignity and equal rights. This document provides an explanation of laws surrounding the human rights code in relation to transgendered individuals. Furthermore, this document highlights specific cases of harassment and discrimination concerning transgendered individuals. It is strongly encouraged health care professionals who are interested in becoming Queer Positive refer to this website in its entirety as it provides a solid background of human rights and terminology regarding transgendered individuals.
